Native to central and South America, the Money Tree is a braided tree that can grow up to 6-8 feet indoors or be trained as a bonsai.
These trees are thought to store luck within the folds of their bark. Also, if you're lucky enough to get a stalk with 7 points instead of the normal 5, that is said to make it even luckier!
On top of that, it is a hardy plant that requires relatively low maintenance. It can tolerate direct sunlight, but prefers bright indirect light, water every 1-2 weeks, and temperatures between 68 and 75 degrees
Sun Requirements: Medium to Bright, indirect light (within 6 feet of an east or west-facing window or 6 feet from a south or southwest-facing window). Can survive in direct light, but try and cycle direct and indirect light exposure.
Water Requirements: Water moderately every 1-2 weeks. Soil moisture meter recommended.
Plant Growth: Can grow 6 inches per year if given the right conditions
