Penstemons like the Foxglove Beardtongue have white flowers that attract bumblebees, honeybees, and even hummingbirds. You'll also find that the flowers will occasionally attract Swallowtail butterflies. Foxglove Beardtongue are fairly easy to grow and can handle both Full Sun and dappled sunlight to shade. You might also hear them by the name of Beardtongue, Smooth White Beardtongue, Mississippi Penstemon, or Talus Slope.
The Foxglove Beardtongue is found natively throughout the Midwestern US from the western edge of the Rockies to Eastern Ohio.
