Blue False Indigo bloom in the late spring with bright blue flowers that attract pollinators and provide a great contrast to other spring blooming plants. Blue False Indigo are a bushy plant that typically take 1-2 years to fully mature as is typical for similar plants like Lupine. Rest-assured, you’ll be rewarded for your patience with one of our favorite plants we offer.

An important note, Blue False Indigo is an incredibly important source of beneficial bacteria called rhizobia. Having a Blue False Indigo plant will assure long-term health of your garden.

Natively, Blue False Indigo is found East of the Rocky Mountains, but is not found in Florida, Louisiana or Mississippi.

You will be purchasing a 3" plastic pot containing 1, well-rooted Blue False Indigo plant with 1+ nodes of growth that was grown with love in Minnesota from seed. We will try and provide plants with multiple nodes, but it may vary depending on availability. Pictures on this listing are not perfectly representative to what you will be receiving, however, we will do our best to get you the healthiest plant possible.
