This perennial, hardy native plant has bright, early-blooming flowers. The Early Sunflower tolerates basically any type of soil moisture level from swamp to dry, sandy soil. The Early Sunflower is one of the easiest plants to grow and maintain that we offer. They readily self-seed and come back every year.
These plants are essential early sources of pollen and nectar for bees and butterflies, which need as much help as they can get in the early summer months. Early Sunflower will thrive anywhere in the continental US, as it is found natively in every state!
You will be purchasing a 3" plastic pot containing 1, well-rooted Early Sunflower plant with 1+ nodes of growth that was grown with love in Minnesota from seed. We will try and provide plants with multiple nodes, but it may vary depending on availability. Pictures on this listing are not perfectly representative to what you will be receiving, however, we will do our best to get you the healthiest plant possible.
