One of the few known host plants for the Black Swallowtail butterfly, Golden Alexanders are an essential native plant to feature in your pollinator garden. Golden Alexanders are very hardy and will survive in poor soils and from full sun to partial sun. Their yellow bunches of flowers bloom in the late spring and are an important nectar source for short-tongued pollinators.

Golden Alexanders flowers will thrive anywhere east of the Rocky mountains in the continental US, but will survive and thrive in zones 3-8.

You will be purchasing a 3" plastic pot containing 1, well-rooted Golden Alexanders plant with 1+ nodes of growth that was grown with love in Minnesota from seed. We will try and provide plants with multiple nodes, but it may vary depending on availability. Pictures on this listing are not perfectly representative to what you will be receiving, however, we will do our best to get you the healthiest plant possible.
