An ideal plant for a woodland or shady pollinator garden, Short's Aster, grows baby blue to lavender petals between August and October, which attract pollinators like bumblebees, hummingbirds and butterflies. These plants look great in a bunch of four or five, forming an almost Aster bush.
This plant is native East of the Mississippi River. However, this plant will survive in planting zones 3-8.
You will be purchasing a 3" plastic pot containing 1, well-rooted Short's Aster plant with 1+ nodes of growth that was grown with love in Minnesota from seed. We will try and provide plants with multiple nodes, but it may vary depending on availability. Pictures on this listing are not perfectly representative to what you will be receiving, however, we will do our best to get you the healthiest plant possible.
